Can Fever And Tenderness Near Jaw And Neck Be Signs Of HIV?

hi male 24 years .from the start i had a sex on 30th nov 2010 with a sex worker,first she giv me blow job without condom for almost 10 min and after that i put on condom and she give me blow job again for almost 5 min and then we had protected sex with condom ,when i finished i put off the condom and again she giv me blow job 2 or three min,after that is these 6 months i had fever one time ,and now after almost 8 months ago now on my right side of neck near jaw when i touch with fingure i feel some thing ,but no visible swollow ,is this all a sign of hiv m waiting for ur answer thanks

Hi, pain in the jaw is not the symptom of hiv. but fever may be. Symptoms of hiv are persistent fever, chronic diarrhoea, weight loss, weaknesses, lymphadenopathy frequent infection etc. you should go for confirmatory hiv testing once. you can go with hiv 1 and 2 antibodies and p24 antigen combo test.
