Can Fibrillation Be Triggered By Vomiting?

during a stress test, and I was vomiting all day due to caffine withdrawal headache, my heart went into a fib. Just prior to this event I was told I had left branch bundle block. My blood pressure is sometimes normal or low and has recently been climbing. I am concerning about being on meds for the remainder of my life. I am 65 year old female with no other medical problems.
What meds would you advise? Could the a fib have been triggered by vomiting for hours?

Hello

Yes AF could possibly be triggered due to vomiting also.

For your medication its advisable to take a proper written prescription from your treating doctor. However following class of medicines will be required

1. Anticoagulant for AF
2. Low dose Aspirin
3. Rate control medicine like beta blockers if ventricular rate is fast.

Kind Regards
