Can Fibroids Cause This Shortness Of Breath And Change In Burping?

I am 50 yr old female. During the last 6 weeks I have had to use my albuterol inhaler almost daily. Normally it s only one or 2 times a month. Also, I have noticed a change in the force of belching. They are deeper and loud. It seems like something is pressing upward from my belly. Can something like fibroids cause this shortness of breath and change in burping? I Take a PPI as needed when I have heartburn, but I don t notice a difference in that frequency. I only started paying attention to the shortness of breath when my burping changed. I wonder if they are related. I have had fibroids in the past. Non smoker, in good shape, no hypertension Etc. I also wonder if it could be anxiety, on Zoloft for that. Thanks

Hi,

No fibroids shouldn’t cause that and you should get a GP appointment and see where it is going wrong.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
