Can Fibroids Stop Menstruation?

I discover lately that my fience had fibriod and any time i have sex with her i fill very unconfortable. Now she has not seing her menses after taking some antibiotics. We conducted Pregnancy text and was negative. Please can you explain if fibriod can stop menses without being at the age of menopause.
