Can Fibromyalgia Cause Extreme Fatigue, Painful Body And Lack Of Balance?
My husband does suffer from a few of the ailments--exhaustion even after a night s sleep, pain all over, especially in his back, shaking, not good balance. He has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and both types of arthritis. Memory loss, depression and anxiety when things become tense. Could his ailments be those of lymes disease rather than the fibromyalgia? Our email is YYYY@YYYY
Hello. I have gone through your question. Fibromyalgia (FM) is a medical condition characterized by chronic widespread pain and a heightened and painful response to pressure. The symptoms you are describing are probably of fibromyalgia. The most common sign of lymes disease is an expanding area of redness, known as erythema migrans, that begins at the site of a tick bite about a week after it has occurred. I would suggest to start with gabapentin 300 mg at night, light exercise daily. Exercise improves fitness and sleep and may reduce pain and fatigue in some people with fibromyalgia. If you have any other queries/question please feel free to ask. Thanks and wish you a healthy life.
