Can Fish Be Consumed While Suffering From Cellulitis?

Hi my name is lisa i was told if some one has cellulitis of the legs and gout they should avoid all kinds of fish is this true? The only reason why i am asking my dad has it and a doctor told me i was right but my aunt who take cares of my dad i was full of bs.

Hello,

I agree with your aunt. I do not know of any contraindication to eating fish if the patient has gout or cellulitis.

One way to monitor the progress of cellulitis is to outline the swelling with a marker and follow it every day.

If you Dad's cellulitis is getting better, you will see that the area of swelling gets smaller within the area of the outline.
