Can Fleas In House Cause Any Health Problem During Pregnancy?

Yes, my daughter-in-law is pregnant, about 3 and a half months. They have just moved into a new appartment in DC, and just discovered the apartment has fleas in it. Are the fleas dangerous to her? They are trying to get the landlady to change the carpet flooring (where the fleas aparently live), to wood flooring. But it might take a little while. Should they be moving out or be really concerned?

If the fleas plays the role of vector and causing some clinical disease then this would be danger the best option you have is to control this with pesticide before getting in the house, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
