Can Fluids In Cul-de-sac Cause Any Complications?

Hey good day if several years ago fluid was found in the posterior cul-de-sac would it cause complications or prevent u from getting pregnant. I am a mother of a 4 year old and one year later this happened presently am trying to get pregnant n no success why is that but am gaining weight

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that you should know that there are sevaral reason behind the fluid in Pouch of Douglas like Ruptured follicle, PID, Pelvic Abscess, Hematoma, Tubo-ovarian abscess.

In any case there needs to be thorough investigations and treatment done because they will eventually interfere with you getting pregnant or problems in the continuing the pregnancy. So, I would suggest that you should visit your Obgy as soon as possible to get the diagnosis done.
