Can Flying With Eye Problem Cause Any Problem?

I had a strange eyesight problem that lasted about 10 minutes. Both eyes had bright lightning bolts and when I blinked the movement would cause a kaleidoscope sensation. Retina specialist and physician ordered an MRI and a vascular ultrasound in the next few days..thinking I had a TIA. I am healthy, 59 year old female. Planning a trip in a few days which includes a flight. Doctor is leaving it up to me. I know the risk, but want to know if the cabin pressure of flying would add more to the potential problem. I Will be on the plane for 3 hours.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having transient ischaemic attack.
You need to undergo vascular ultrasound and MRI has advised by your doctor.
Taking a flight journey will not have any impact on your vascular problems.
But I advice you yo first finish your evaluation and testing to find out the underlying cause so that you can be clear on the effects of flying in a flight.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
