The most common causes of
hair fall are
fungal infection of scalp (dandruff), poor nutrition and
autoimmune disorders.
For prevention of hair fall, dandruff needs to be managed.
Diet rich in proteins will be helpful.
Scalp massage will increase the blood circulation and strengthen the hair roots.
If you have observed that hair fall decreases with intake of vitamin tablets and
folic acid supplements, then you can take the supplements.
You can take vitamin B, C and E since they are water soluble, however, intake of
vitamin A and D should not be taken without consulting your doctor.
Folic acid should also be taken under supervision of your doctor.
