Can Foul Smelling Urine Be The Symptoms For UTI?

Hello. When I've been urinating lately it has been smelling really foul, almost fishy. I'm pretty sure it is coming from my urine and not vaginal discharge as it only occurs when I urinate. I am experiencing no pain or burning like I usually get with UTI. What could it be please?

Hi,

You are experiencing symptoms of urinary tract infection and it requires treatment with antibiotics like norfloxacin. Along with antibiotics, Disodium Hydrogen Citrate syrups such as citralka can be mixed with water and consumed three times a day. Citralka Liquid acts as an alkalinizing agent and mainly used for the treatment of urinary tract infections, painful or difficult urination, kidney stones, urinary acidosis.

Adequate hydration is essential.Urine culture and sensitivity can also be tested to identify the organism causing infection.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
