Can Fracture Of Distal Phalanx Be Treated At Home?

what will happen if I treat my fractured distal phalanx pinky finger at home. Am I in danger of having bone marrow issues? I'm a 38y/o Female. I'm 5'4" 147lbs. Had impacted same knuckle when I was young, hit something and believe same thing has happened. Very painful, ice helps a little, taking advil for swelling. Happened about 2 weeks ago and is feeling worse...Thank you
