Can Fractured Elbow Be Related To Numbness Around The Mouth?

For the past few weeks I have been going numb around my mouth and my nose is very cold. I fell during my routine morning walk 2 1/2 weeks ago and fractured my right elbow. I have been in the sling 24/7 since I went to the orthopedist. Could the two be connected?

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern....

As per your complain CIRCUMORAL PARESTHESIA or numbness around the mouth can be due to a number of causes common are like deficiency of vitamin B 12, iron, Allergic reaction to any medicine, nerve inflammation and injury supplying the area, excessive stress or any cardiovascular disorder can lead to circumoral numbness..

It is not related to fracture in elbow and the only relation can be if you are taking any medication which may be causing you an allergic reaction..
You should consult an Oral physician or a Neurophysician in this regard and get clinical evaluation done and treatment will be planned as per the diagnosis..
It should be taken case of as it may a sign of some underlying disorder..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
