Can Frequent UTI Be Avoided By Consuming Water And Citralka?

I get UTI frequently most often I can get rid off it by drinking plenty of water and adding just one spoon of citralka to a glass of water. Can the UTI be cured with this? Do I really have an infection? My Doc says if this is an infection it will not go away with water and citralka. Your advise please.

Hi,

Citralka is used for other causes not specifically for UTI, first do urinalysis test then AST, antibiotics prescribed according to AST test and taken meds for all days as prescribed will not lead to recurrence, maintenance of good hygiene of groin( learn from gynecologist how to clean otherwise rectum pathogen can go to urinary tract) area and clothes, underwear will prevent infection in future. Drink water more, fruits, juices, steamed vegetables, amla, aloe vera, basil and antioxidants multivitamin for a week.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
