Can Frequent Nose Bleeds Cause Low Iron Levels In Blood?

I have been getting nose bleeds quite often at least twice a week lasting between 30min to an hour not sure why I am 52 years young and this use to be a big problem as a child then they just stopped one day!Never thinking this would return at this age I am concerned that my Iron could get low because of the nose bleeds is this possible ?my High 5ftmy weight 115lb

Hello,

Your symptoms could be suggestive of uncontrolled high blood pressure values. For this reason, I would recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values.

It is also necessary checking coagulation tests and liver function tests, coupled with complete blood count for the platelet count.

If all the above tests result normal, and your blood pressure values are normal, there is no reason to panic. It could be just a sensitive nasal mucosa.
