Can Fresh Strawberries Cause Severe Hives All Over The Body?

My wife has a bad rash hives type arms, legs, chest, pelvic, vagina, it started on her breast late last night. severe itchiness. the only thing she has eaten different is fresh strawberries. she has not been outside. I have given her over the counter Benadryl, stinging nettles. now have applied hydrocortisone cream now cllagel, some relief not much. during the onset earlier her tounge swelled. that is when I gave the Benadryl. it relieved the tounge swelling. would the strawberries have caused this? what else can I do for her?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it seems to be hypersensitivity reaction and it can be well managed with Tab Loratadine three times in day some time it may needs steroid but it has to be give under medical supervision and best is Prednisone oral treatment, besides the allergic condition some systemic causes also needs to be ruled out hope this information helps.
