Can Gastritis Cause Tingling And Numbness In Left Hand?

I have tingling and numbness in both arms but mainly left, the cardiologist said that's because the nerve is connected. I was diagnosed with gastritis. I've been to ER at least 4 times because I thought I was having a heart attack. I'm on omeprazole once a day off and on for the past 6 months. I really don't feel any I improvement but I'm still taking.

I read your question and I understand your concern.

Gastritis does not cause tingling of the hands, so you shouldn't expect much improvement of the tingling from omeprazole. What the doctor must have meant (I am just assuming here), is that tingling of the hands and gastritis can be found together as an effect of anxiety.
However as I said it is just an assumption of his conclusion, so in the absence of other data, a neurological exam might be necessary to evaluate those symptoms.

I hope to have been of help.
