Can Genital Herpes Lesions Show Up On The Penis Head With No Prior Symptoms?

1) can genital herpes lesions show up on the penis head with no prior symptoms?. i had 3 lesions on my penis that were very red but they appeared all of a sudden. I felt a strong burning sensation 2 days after them appearing. is this usual for lesions to appear and the burning sensation to start after in a primary outbreak? 2) How fast can valovocyvir heal a primary outbreak? i had lesions for 3 days before going to the doctor and i took medication the following 2 days which would total 5 days for the whole episode to be over. the lesions dissapeared completely in a total of 5 days from start to finish. They were very fluorid and dissappeared very fast. Is this usual or can it mean that i had something else since ive heard it takes longer for a primary outbreak to heal from start to finish than just 5 days especially if symptoms are fluorid. I had what looked like blisters on one of the lesions but they never burts, scabbed, or ulcerated. I was prescribed valovyclocir 2 pills of 500mg every 12 hours for 10 days but i only took them 2 days since the lesions completely dissapeared. Some doctors have told me that it could be that the medication worked and some say that valoviclocir would take at least 4-7 days to heal lesions so i am confused.

Hello
Thanks for the query to HCM Forum.
You asked 2 question and answer is here .
1 Yes genital herpes can be asymptomatic , subclinical, mild or severe .Incubation period is 2 to 12 days . Lesions are usually multiple as in your case .
2 Your doctor prescribe VALACYCLOVIR for these lesions and you got very good response but took for only 2 days .
Yes this is the cause of concern , only for 2 days .
As you mentioned that there is a blister on one lesion , yes that is concerning .
Regime for VALACYCLOVIR is as follow .
1 VALACYCLOVIR 500 mg orally twice a day for 3 days.
2 Valacyclovir 1 g orally once a day for 5 days .
In your case still one lesion present and you took this drug only for 2 days , this is wrong .
Last option for treatment is as .
Treatment can be extended if healing is incomplete ( in you ) in 10 days .
In my opinion consult your treating doctor and get his opinion regarding this case.
Good luck.
