Hello
Thanks for the query to HCM Forum.
You asked 2 question and answer is here .
1 Yes
genital herpes can be asymptomatic , subclinical, mild or severe .Incubation period is 2 to 12 days . Lesions are usually multiple as in your case .
2 Your doctor prescribe VALACYCLOVIR for these lesions and you got very good response but took for only 2 days .
Yes this is the cause of concern , only for 2 days .
As you mentioned that there is a
blister on one lesion , yes that is concerning .
Regime for VALACYCLOVIR is as follow .
1 VALACYCLOVIR 500 mg orally twice a day for 3 days.
2 Valacyclovir 1 g orally once a day for 5 days .
In your case still one lesion present and you took this drug only for 2 days , this is wrong .
Last option for treatment is as .
Treatment can be extended if healing is incomplete ( in you ) in 10 days .
In my opinion consult your treating doctor and get his opinion regarding this case.
Good luck.
