sir, my father 52 aged 5.10 inch height is facing the problem of diabeties from many years. he has been taking medicines for the same.recently he is advised to take glimisave m2 for diabeties. i just want to know whether this medicine is fine and has no adverse effect ?. he is also suffering from bad cough from few months.
Hello, Glimmisave m2 is a good antidiabetic medicine and can be taken easily. All the medicines carry some or other side effects but their benefits outweigh their sideveffects. The most common side effects of glimmisave m2 are nausea, diarrhoea, loss of appetite etc but all the patients using this medicine don't suffer from these side effects. A prolonged cough for many months should not be ignored and should be investigated. It could be due to tuberculosis or asthmatic or allergic bronchitis or it could even be due to ace inhibitors,if patient is taking them for high blood pressure. Consult a physician and get him examined and nvestigated. Thanks
