HI DOCTOR! I M JOAN AND I WONDER IF DRINKING GRAPEFRUIT JUICE WHILE TAKING THE FOLLOWING MEDS IS OK: LISINOPRIL; LASIX; CRESTOR; KLOR-CON; PROTONIX OR HYDROCODONE. THANK YOU DOCTOR KUMAR. IF THERE IS A FEE TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION, PLEASE DISREGARD. I THOUGHT IT WAS GRATIS. THANKS ANYWAY.

Hi. i can understand your concern. Grape fruit does have an interaction with cholesterol lowering drug i.e crestor(rosuvastatin). Grape fruit increases the level of statins in blood. This might require a lowering of dosage. Other drugs that you have mentioned do not have an interaction with grape fruit.
