Can Gray Hair Caused By Stress Be Reversed If The Stress Is Relieved?

Hi Doctor, I've been under stress(on and off) from the past 2-3 years and my beard has started graying...I'm 36 years old...and it is increasing at a rapid pace....and it is worrying me as the days go by...even Vitamin B supplements have not helped (its been almost 3 months)....can gray hair caused by stress reversed if the stress is relieved...

I understand your concern.

Stress may affect hair growth and pigmentation.

But it would be difficult to say that only stress can cause this and resolution of stress can help.

Proper care with protection from dust and chemical can help.

Nutritional support with vitamin suppliments perticular biotin and B complex.

Proper oil application and avoid hair colour.

Take advise from hair experts.
