Can Having PCOS And Obesity Cause False Negative In HPT Post Missed Periods?

Hi my last menstural was on May 31 & I have not had another one since I have PCOS as well as I m obese could those two aspects play a roll in getting a negative hpt if I m actually pregnant? I am having some pregnancy symptoms as well as people telling me I look pregnant.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Obesity & pcos lead to irregular periods due to hormonal imbalance.
By no way they can cause false - ve pregnancy test. If by chance there is ovulation & the lady conceives.. pregnancy test bounds to be +ve.
Actually, when tested carefully/with a reliable kit, before it's expiry date , pregnancy test is never false -ve. It can be false +ve due to errors in testing or contaminated urine sample.
