Can Having Hypothyroid Cause Missed Periods?

I am a hypothyroid patient, but recently my reports were normal and i was getting regular periods and i didnt got periods from past one and a half month my last date was 30/8/2014 . My pregnency tests are still negative but my doctor gave me susten 300 for ten dAys today is my last day of the dose . Kindly suggest that i am pregnant or not

In hypothyroidism there is increase in menstrual bleeding with occurence of intermenstrual bleeding. Susten helps in preparing the uterus for implantation of the fretilised ovum which later turns to be embryo, and foetus.
