Can Having Taken Ipill Result In Early Period?
On 22nd of may I had sex and as a precaution I took I pill on 23rd.After that I didnt indulge into any intercourse. I had my last period on 11th of may but my period has started on 28th of may again. Please tell me whats the reason behind it? Is there any chance of getting period after 7 days of taking the pill in case fertilization happened at the time of last sex ?

You are having irregular periods. Emergency CP. has may side effects like early periods, irregular periods, excessive bleeding, no periods, scanty periods, etc. The morning-after pill can help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex when the pills are taken in time (within 24-72 hours). But, it won’t prevent pregnancy for any sex you may have after taking it. It is for one time use.
The efficacy of I pill decreases with time. To be on the safer side get done pregnancy test with the first morning mid stream urine. Get connected to your treating doctor, if positive, you will be managed and treated accordingly.
