Can Having Unprotected Sex Cause HIV Infection?

I am 22 male. before 2 days i sex with prostitute with condom but during sex condom crack. At that time she instantly ( in 5 to 10 seconds ) take out my penis and replace new condom. i don t know about her reports and all. i also asked her about reports and all she said me that she is clear. but i want to know is there any chance to getting infected by hiv or other STDs when condom crack and instantly remove penis and replace new one. i also wash my penis after sex with water and there is no any crack or spot on my penis.

Hello and welcome.

Well yes of course there is a chance of exposure, as the woman sex worker realised the condom broke because of the change in sensation which means your penis did come in contact with her vaginal fluids and possibly even the cervix or vagina.

I would recommend an elaborate STD-panel and a HIV DUO test to be conducted on or after the 28 day from exposure.

Best wishes.
