Can Having Unprotected Sex While On Primolut N Cause Pregnancy?

Hi, Ive not had my periods for 3 months to date and was diagnosed for bacterial infection. With medication, the infection is under control. To treat the delayed periods, i was on Promulut for 5-days, twice daily. On the 5th day, i had intercourse and am not sure whether the protection was effective. What will be the effect if i have an ipill to avoid any chance of pregnancy? Am i in the phase to conceive to begin with? If i do decide to have an ipill, what can be the consequences?

Understand your concern
Primolut itself act as contraception till you will take it. As you are on the primolut N on the 5th day , there is no chance of pregnancy.
It support the endometrium lining and once you stop the drug bleeding will take place with in 4-7 days.
No need to take i pill.
I pill will cause delay in the period as it contain high dose of the progesterone.
I pill lead to prolongation of leuteal phase and delay in the period.
Also side effects like nausea, breast tenderness, tiredness will occur.
