Can Having Unprotected Sex While On Last Pill Of Placebo Cause Pregnancy?

I am finishing up my second cycle on tri-cyclen. Today, I took my last placebo pill. Due to circumstances, I may not be able to start my next pack for three more days and I will not be engaging in sex until at least a week after that. I did, however, have sex yesterday while still on my 6th placebo pill. There was so inner ejaculation. From what I understand, I should be safe on my placebo pill if i took my pills correctly for the whole cycle. Am I still at risk?

Hi,

If you have taken all the previous active hormonal pills, correctly, then you are protected against pregnancy during placebo period also. Your understanding in this regards is right. Risk of pregnancy is the same whether the unprotected sex has been there during active pills or during placebo pills and it is about 0.3%.
