Can Hcg Diet Cause Red Rash?

This is for real, an on-line doctor to answer questions? I should send to my college daughter just in case, right?

I do have a question. I am 56 years old. I am doing the HCG diet. I notice a red "rash" on my chest...no itching, nothing...but it just showed up. Can this be HCG or HCG detox?

Thank you for your question!
The rash that you describe does not belong to the most common side effects of HCG diet.
Anyway there are less common or rare side effects which is the allergy and rash on different areas of the skin, and sure this could be your case.
If the rash bothers you, and the symptoms like itching and swelling will be present, it is necessary that you stop the hcg diet.
I hope this helps!
Feel free to contact me if anything is unclear.
Good health!
