Can Headaches Cause Congestion In The Optical Nerve In A Child?

Hi there. Can headaches be a cause for congestion in the optical nerve in a child? He has had a pressure headache for two days and routine eye exam today found some congestion in both optic nerves in the eye?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am really worried

There must be a reason behind congestion of optic nerves. I suggest you to take an appointment from your doctor as soon as possible to get checked properly if there is anything wrong in the brain or not.
