Can Heart Valve Calcification Lead To Heart Attack?

My husband has moderate to severe heart valve calcification but is not yet a candidate for valve replacement surgery. Is he more at risk for a heart attack or a stroke? What symptoms would he display if he was in trouble of heart failure? The other day while driving he said he became lethargic or light headed and was going to pull over but recovered, was this a sign of a heart problem?

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The same calcification is likely in blood vessels of the brain and heart… / risk of stroke or heart attack is true indeed /Light headedness could be from low pumping or irregular beats…
Failure may come from an attack or valve worsening…
He needs a battery of investigations for further assessment and assistance…

Good luck
Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
