Can Heartburn, Nipple Soreness And Amenorrhea Indicate Pregnancy In A 52-yr-old Woman?

I am 52 yrs old and in menopause I believe. In Jan my period was a small spot then nothing since then. I do have PCOS and am a type 2 diabetic. Lately I have been feeling sick to my stomach heartburn (I take omprazole) and my nipples have been a little sore. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative but I know you can get false negative readings. I am married and we don t use protection when being intimate. Is it possible that I am pregnant and this is why I am having these symptoms or could it be something else?

Hi, I think there is little chance of pregnancy once the periods stop and also you have a negative pregnancy test. These symptoms can be menopausal symptoms also. So, you can take some antacids like pantoprazole empty stomach. You can take a combination of evening primrose oil and vitamin E to relieve the breast soreness. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
