Can Heavy Period And Pain Be Side Effects Of Prostap?

i suffer with endometriosis...ive been prescribed prostap but was given it a week and a half before my menstrual cycle...which since ive googled it seems its too early. my period has appeared today and i am in so much pain and very heavy its worse than a normal one...is this right?
