I recently have ringing in my ears, which I suspect is due to sinus infection , which I m being treated for. But, also I m curiuos if my high blood pressure (155/90) could also give me ringing in the ears? FYI, I am scheduled to visit my doctor in two weeks time as he wants me to begin bp medication . But, my questiof for you is if my reading could produce this ear ringing? Thanks for all your time and expertise.
Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Not having high blood pressure can cause ringing in ears but indirectly if having high cholesterol or high lipid might cause otosclerosis might giving rise to this problem.
So keep BP record and go for S. cholesterol and Lipid profile as well.
Ok and bye.
