Can High Bp Cause Dizziness?

My mother is 61. She is getting head reeling while going to sleep from sitting position or while getting up to sitting position from sleeping position. She has high bp and is on a medication of amlodipine 5mg daily once. Off late she had BP problems.

Hi,
It is less likely that hypertension would cause this. Positional dizziness, is most common with non cardiac reason. I would recommend you to once consult an ENT Doctor.
