Can Hormone Imbalance, Cause Blood Clots During Menses?
Hi, my periods are clotty. I think this has always been the case, to some degree, but after child birth (and after a couple of miscarriages) it seems to be more clotty than usual. Should I worry? So far no problems with the uterus, fybroids, or anything physically visible. Can hormonal imbalances (estrogen/progesterone) cause this? Thyroid/levels was checked fairly recently too, looked fine.
Yes, it can cause this clotty blood. You have to adjust it as possible as you can cause it can cause severe complications like DVT.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
