Can Hormone Replacement Therapy Cause Blood Clots In The Brain?
Hi I am 24 years old. I have irregular periods doctor suggested me to take hormonal pills to make it regular but this leaded for me to get blood clot in my brain as a side effect. I am taking treatment and i am under acitrom 3 mg tablet. now I am hiving over bleeding with big blood clots so can I take pause tablet to reduce bleeding? It doesn t have any side effects? Please suggest me....
Yes, hormonal pills can cause clot in the veins of the leg resulting in stroke. There is no documented harmful interaction between acitrom and pause tablet hence pause table can be taken to control vaginal bleeding with clots. Pause tablet is generally well tolerated by most of our patients, however it may cause nausea, diarrhea, and stomach issues. In rare cases, it can lead to allergic reactions or vision problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
