Can Hot And Humid Condition Cause White Pimples On The Breast?

Hello - I noticed a white pimple on my right breast nipple this morning. When squeezed lightly it does not leak any fluid. Of course it hurt a little to squeeze it. Context - I ran outside yesterday, it was hot and humid --- is white pimple perhaps related to heat reaction. Should I contact my GYN doc?

Hello,

As per your case history, you have folliculitis due to humidity. My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil, and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
