Can Hqn Cream Be Used Other Than Nose For Pigmentation?

Hi, my dermatologist have suggested to use HQN cream for black pigmentation in my nose. My question is should I only use it in the nose or can i use in other part of the face where there are pigmentation, because my doctor asked to use only in nose. Please advise.

Hi,

HQN cream contains hydroquinone, a toxic chemical. So,I usually avoid to prescribe in my patients. It might cause irritation on the skin..irritant contact dermatitis and confetti like depigmentaion on skin after long term use. So, please avoid it.

You may apply kojic acid and vitamin C containing gel on black paches of nose and face twice a day. Take glutathion and vitamin C orally. Cleanse face with kojic acid containing face wash. Avoid sun exposure. You may apply suscreen gel to protect fron sunrays. You may feel better after few weeks.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
