General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Blood pressure of stage 1 can be tried to be treated with lifestyle modifications only. You seem to be stage 1 hypertension. Lifestyle modifications can be tried for 3-6 months and if you do not have your blood pressure under control after this time period of trying the lifestyle modifications (diet, exercise, etc) then you will need to talk to your doctor and consider starting antihypertensive drugs.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
