I m 6 FT tall, I weigh 110 lbs, I m losing my hair, and I m hypoglycemic. I eat constantly. I m wondering if my hypoglycemia and hair loss have a connection to my weight. I am 23 years old (although i look about 16) and no one in my family started losing hair until mid 30s.
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Hypoglycemia does not cause hair loss. However, if it is syndrome related or nutritional - hair loss can happen. 2. Improvement in nutrition is necessary. I am wondering, why you have hypoglycemia? nutritional or other causes. 3. Improve diet rich in B-complex, Vit C, selenium and protein diet. This should help in improvement. Also meet a trichologist to rule out any infection or inflammatory condition affecting the hair. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
