Can Hypothyroid Cause Acne?

I recently got some blood tests done for thyroid. My TSH reading is 9.0.
Antithyroid antibody count is approx 300. My doc has suggested thyronom-dosage 25mg. I am currently not showing any clinical symptoms of hypothyroid. I have very mild acne. Is my acne a result of hypothyroid. I have also taken other hormone tests such free testosterone, DHT, Cortisol,Prolactin, Insulin, DHEA-s;all of which were absolutely normal.Please advise

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have hypothyroidism and you are taking thyronorm for that. Now you don't have any symptoms so it is OK. Continue your drug according to advice. Your acne is not due to hypothyroidism. So don't worry about that. Just relaxed. If your acne problems remains persistent then take treatment for that.
