Can I Conceive When I Have Irregular Periods?

im a 28 year old woman,5;3,54 kgs.i have been trying to conceive for the lst 15 months.iv been getting light green discharge,odourless,no itch or discomfort.my cycle is irregular and im on day 37 today.my papsmear and ultrasoung results show nothing wrong.i also have a histoy of abdominal(intestinal)surgery.Help!

Hello,
I can understand your concern.

I would like to tell you that because your ultrasound reports and pap smear are normal, mostly there will not be any reason for not conceiving. But because since last 15 months you were trying and not able to conceive, i would like to advise you to go for few hormonal tests like FSH, LH, Testosteron and TSH, because Polycystic ovarian disease can be one of the possibilities. Also go for ovulation study because you are having irregualr periods.

You don't need to worry much and be relaxed, you will definitely conceive, just have patience and consult a good gynecologist and act accordingly.
