Can I Continue Gemer Forte Inspite Of Its Side Effects?

I was taking azulix 2mg for last ten years. As it was not effective recently I visited diabetoligist recently who suggeste gemer forte 2/850 in morn and gemer forte 1/850 in the evening. After two months I have nasea, burp and flatulence as side effects. Can I continue same medication

weight
your duration of diabetes
your age.
usually metformin will have some side effect of nausea and gastritis .
