Can I Continue Pregnancy After Taking Medication?

hi am really worried coz i took one pill of cytotec vaginally and 7 pills oraiil at interval of six hours and i bleed for a few days bt a week later i went to my gyna and i am still 100 percent pregnant....am really worried cz i want to keep the baby now...is that a good idea?plz help am now 6weeks pg

Hi,
With the use of cytotec during pregnancy there is a risk that the baby will have birth defects ( limb defects, frontal and temporal bone defects, sixth and seventh nerve paralysis etc). Therefore it is not a good idea to keep the baby now.
I would certainly advise you to complete the abortion process.
To complete the abortion process discuss with your doctor and you may either repeat the cyctotec dose or have surgical procedure.
