Can I Continue To Have Sex After A Blood Vessel On The Cervix Busted?
hi i am pregnant for the first time i am now 37 weeks and a few weeks ago i started bleeding after intercourse and i went to labor and delivery and they told me i busted a blood vessel on my cervix. would it be ok to continue having sex again? they never told me if i could or could not
I think that as the vessels are very vascular during pregnancy so the chances of the vessels being injured during intercourse in pregnancy are higher. I would suggest you to have a conservative management with Tranaxemic Acid 500 mg for 5 days and a course of antibiotics (Amoxyclav) for 5 days and have intercourse again after 3 months of delivery.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
