Can I Cut Out A Small Pimple Like Bump On The Incsion Line For Which Doctor Asked Me To Have A Surgery?

I had a sebasceous cyst on my neck that ruptured and was surgically removed about 2 months ago. It was quite large, the size of a golf ball. Now I have a small pimple like bump on the incision line. My Dr. said I need to have surgery again. Can't I just cut it out? It is very small. This process was very expensive and he wants me to go to a surgery center. Last time I had no anesthesia and the procedure cost me over $4000.

Hi,

Pimple like bump on scar may be milia. It is a small cyst containing white material. Just remove the material rupturing the lesion. You consult dermatologist. You can do at home taking antiseptic precaution. Clean the area with spirit and puncture it with sterile needle and remove the whitish material. And apply antiseptic cream like gentamycine. You may be alright.

Thanks.
