Can I Do Mild Physical Activity After Having An Angiogram?
I had an angiogram 24 hours ago, everything was normal. I spent 6 hours in hospital afterwards to be monitored and was then sent home. I was told no heavy lifting, pushing, pulling or car driving for 3 days. On Internet sites it says complete bed rest for 48 hours. I have 2 young children - can I put washing in the machine, cook their tea, and walk about a bit between having rests or am I over doing it?
you can start with your daily routine activities with limited exertion Complete best rest is not advised unless the patient is suffering with a serious heart problem
Discuss this with your doctor and then decide. Hope i have answered your query. Get well soon.
