i am a diabetic and i get free eye tests , i am about to start work, does anyone know if i can free prescriptions when i do , for my diabetes medication or will i have to pay

No idea. It depend where you are working. Approach the HR from the comapny where you are working they will tell you the policies followed in that place regading medical things.

I do not think you get free medicines on free prescriptions.
Usually in free check up camps they examine free but medicines prescribed you have to purchase from medical stores with your money.

There are so many charitable hospitals which give free consultation ,prescription & some even medicines ,.So you can search some purely charitable hospital in your area.
