Hi, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
What is your Height and Weight? Do you have any kind of stress? Do you have chest pains? I would like to let you know that
High Blood Pressure Per se wont cause any changes in your ECG, but
Hypertension is a risk factor for heart diseases which causes ECG changes. If there was anything abnormal your Doctor would have let you known definitely as you are a mature person and there is no point in hiding from you, so that you take Proper care of yourself and would have subjected you to further tests. Kindly don't panic. I am sure he would have Prescribed you Anti Hypertension Medications, which i suppose you have been taking regularly as directed by him. If you are
overweight lose it. Exercise regularly, like cardio, crunches, swimming, skipping. Limit your salt intake and avoid junk. If you smoke and drink, QUIT. Eat healthy nutritious balanced diet like fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Practice
relaxation techniques like
Yoga and
Meditation. Sleep for 8 hours daily, avoid oversleeping and less than 6 hours sleep. All these steps will keep your BP under fairly good control. Go for regular follow up.
Wish you Good Health, Take Care.
