i forgot to take my birth control 2 days and i took 3 and i am on my period could that have caused it?

Thanks for the query.
Birth control pills have direct effect on harmonal levels. so if these are altered definitly they will have impact on your period.
so dont worry no other cause for your period.This is normal.

Start with a new pack, you are no longer protected if you miss for two days. You have to use an alternative contraceptive for next 15 days till the time your BCP take good drug levels and protect you from pregnancy.
